What in the caucadacity?!? I haven’t watched a minute of Meghan’s show (nothing against her, those types of shows just aren’t my thing) but if it’s making white women mad…well 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤣🤣🤣! They need to just turn it off, leave us alone, and mind their own business while we audacious and unbothered Black women live our (best) lives.
this essay is a great reminder to embrace the things that bring us joy. I was also someone who thought they 'couldn't' bake, but really, I never let myself really try it as an adult. Now it's one of my favorite hobbies <3
I like to give things a go. The background music was good, and some guests, like the Korean chef, were interesting. I felt more realness there in terms of him talking about his influences. To me, food is about bringing people together. Some people may have found it difficult to connect as there was a sense of a 'picture perfect' vibe. Life is also about imperfections, which may make us feel more human. In terms of black or brown women baking, have you come across that British chef Nadiya Hussain? She's done well after the TV show. She shared how she faced the challenges of not being fair-skinned.
This was an all around beautiful read. Loved the way all these topics were pulled in 🤎
Thanks for reading and sharing Kamil ❤️

I've wanted to explore crocheting for the longest time although I don't consider myself a crafty person. This is my inspo

I'm so happy this resonated, and that we're circling back to hobbies as adults and falling in love with the process. Thanks for sharing ✨🫶🏿

I thought the show was delightful, even if not completely related to my reality. And no, I haven't but I will look her up!
Glad this inspired you, go for it!
