Hey y’all, I saw this tweet last week and I silently nodded my head with a slight smile on my face. While I’m so here for the Black girl luxury movement and Black women redefining who has access to luxurious lifestyles, there is an accessibility issue at its core that doesn’t sit right with me because it’s a movement that doesn’t bring everyone along. Only a few Black girls get to be in this club, which is fine, not everyone can get access to everything, but if this is the movement we’re all currently amplifying, shouldn’t more people be able to participate?
