As an Afro-German, this has very much not been my experience, and many Black people I know who have moved to Germany have been shocked at the brutality of German social culture. Many BIPOC and leftist people are now leaving Berlin for Spain and Portugal. However, this also depends on your class context and if you are in the 'expat' bubble.
